Our Mission Statement

Persons with severe and persistent mental illness and those with co-occurring disorders (severe and persistent mental illness and a substance abuse disorder) can achieve recovery and should be active participants in program planning as well as individualized treatment planning consistent with individual abilities. To the extent possible, normalization, community integration, independent functioning and rehabilitation shall be goals for person centered service delivery. Integrated dual disorders treatment, aggressive outreach and ease of service access are essential characteristics of successful programs serving individuals with co-occurring disorders. A coordinated team approach is essential to the delivery of quality integrated dual disorders treatment. Services shall be available in varying levels of intensity based on individual client need as a multi-disciplinary team approach to service delivery is a model which best assures the quality and continuity of client care. Services and programs shall be person centered and responsive to the needs of those served rather than the needs of the service system or those employed by it.
