Intensive Residential Treatment Programs

(Open to Department of Mental Health Consumers only)

PISL – Psychiatric Individual Supported Living

Hillsboro House is our Psychiatric Individualized Supported Living (PISL) program and it is located in Farmington, MO. Residents at Hillsboro House consist of adults ages 18 years to 99+ of age who have agreed to work toward their own individual treatment goals, including but not limited to stabilization of their mental health and acquiring the skills necessary to move into more independent living situations. Residents at Hillsboro House have their own private room and a bathroom in a home-like setting which is shared by a total of 4 residents. This facility provides a 24/7 supervised setting. 

This services is available to eligible male adults from St. Francois County, Mo. there are eligibility criteria for this service which would be determined upon evaluation for services. If you have additional questions about Hillsboro House, please contact (573)756-2899. 

Fees: PISL services are paid for through Missouri Medicaid. Other funds may be available to support the cost of such services for eligible individuals who have no other means to pay. 

IRTS – Intensive Residential Treatment Services

Mineral Area CPRC offers several Intensive Residential Treatment services (IRTS) options. IRTS facilities provide a 24/7 supervised setting. The program is designed to assist individuals with improving their level of functioning, develop natural supports, prepare residents for living on their own by teaching independent living skills such as cooking, cleaning, and money management, teach self-management of illness, and assist residents in achieving recreational, education, and vocational goal with emphasis on integration in the community.  Residents are New Horizon’s Bridge Haven Estates and Washington House have their own private bedroom with a bathroom in a home-like setting. New Horizon’s houses 15 residents, Bridge Haven houses 8 residents and Washington House houses 6 residents. 

This service is available to any eligible adult from St. Francois County. There are eligibility criteria for this service which would be determined upon evaluation for services. For more information please call (573)756-2899.

Clustered Apartment Programs (Supported Housing)

Clustered Apartment services takes on a supportive housing approach to service delivery. Clustered Apartments allow for on-site monitoring and interventions at least eight (8) hours daily, depending on the location. Program staff are onsite or available daily to clients and provide services in the client’s living environment (apartment). There are eligibility criteria for this service which would be determined upon evaluation for services. MACPRC has three clustered apartment programs: 

Mereliz Clustered Apartments (24 hour per day monitoring) (male only)

Norvi Clustered Apartments (8 hour per day monitoring) (Co-Ed)

Steplee Clustered Apartments: (8 hour per day monitoring) (Co-Ed)
